Our Story
Dr. Kun Nam is an Internal Medicine Specialist, who has five decades of experience in primary care medicine. He immigrated from South Korea to the United States after graduating from Yonsei University School of Medicine and fulfilling his military commitment in the Korean Navy. Seeking greater opportunity for himself and his family, he moved to Stark County in 1982 to open his own medical practice. He is recognized by his colleagues and generations of patients for his compassionate care and commitment to excellence.
Dr. Steve Nam was raised in Canton, Ohio. He is a graduate of Canton Central Catholic High School and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine. He completed his training at the State University of New York Downstate and Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and returned to his hometown in 2010 to join his father’s service in primary care.
Lauren Patterson earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Mount Union and brings a strong foundation in patient-centered care.
With experience as both an EMT and nursing aide, along with clinical training in urgent care, behavioral medicine, dermatology, and general surgery, Lauren offers a well-rounded and compassionate approach to care. She is dedicated to creating a comfortable, supportive environment where patients feel heard and valued.
